Annual Joint Meeting of the European MASLD Study Group & EGIR - 23–25 November 2026 | Maastricht, The Netherlands
The European MASLD Study Group and the European Group for Insulin Resistance (EGIR), both affiliated with the European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD), are pleased to announce their Annual Joint Meeting, bringing together leading basic, translational, and clinical researchers in metabolic health.

The 2026 meeting will focus on the interplay between MASLD,insulin resistance, diabetes, obesity, and related cardiometabolic disease.

The meeting will be chaired by Dr. Amalia Gastaldelli, with local organization by Prof. Ruth Meex and Prof. Kristiaan Wouters (NUTRIM, Maastricht University Medical Centre).
The programme will include keynote lectures, selected oral and poster presentations, and dedicated networking opportunities for researchers and clinicians.
